Urgency: a stitch in time saves more than nineUrgency: a stitch in time saves more than nine

I was half-awoken by the lil' cockroach that created an unpleasant sound as it raced on my carpet. Fully awake and infuriated, i picked up my insecticide and i sprayed the insect to death.
Then i thought about a friend and a colleague i added to my friend's list this morning, pondering if he had actually accepted my friend's request, i checked my facebook wall. Actually, he had. Browsing through his page, i discovered he was (and still) a good writer. I immediately felt the urgency to write a note on my wall as i discovered i had actually 'over-procastinated' this note for too long a time.

For most people, life is a dream, or perhaps a journey, and for others a race. If a sense of urgency is not high enough and complacency is not low enough, everything else becomes so much difficult.

This brings the biological process of formation of life to my vivid remembrance. It is noteworthy that millions of sperm, perhaps about 3 million, race towards a comfortable looking egg in order to initiate a life. In most cases, only one sperm cell, usually the fastest and the most viable, eventually make it to the egg. Hmm, what an amazing wonder!!!

A notable lesson from this process is that you are either quick or dead in this ever changing world. The world no longer encounters episodial changes rather changes are effected every second of the day....
